Flight to Salt Lake City ...

After a 24 hour unplanned layover in the Ramada Hotel at JFK, courtesy of Delta ...

The staff at the Ramada are totally 'smile' challenged - shame

Waiting 24 hours for the flight to Salt Lake City via Baltimore Maryland

The 'Delta Blues' takes on a new perspective

Eventually on board the 1st leg of the flight to Salt Lake City via Baltimore, Maryland

Late - very late

Jamaica Bay - flying out of JFK

We landed in Baltimore just 15 minutes before the SLC flight was ready to leave

Six of us passangers had to run like hell through across the tarmac, through the terminal and just managed to join the end of the boarding que - stress!

I had to hope that Delta maintained the innards of their planes better than the outside

Leaving Baltimore for SLC

We had window seats in the emergency exit row with a bit more leg-room

Still some snow on the rockies

The great Salt Lake

Salt-works in the great lake

An island in the Salt Lake

The lake is evaporating over time, leaving a ring of salt around the periphery

The Salt Lake at sunset - landing at about 20h15

They litter their peaks with structures over here too
